Kingsley Build Group Ltd is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and has completed and published a Carbon Reduction Plan in accordance with the Technical Standard for the Completion of Carbon Reduction Plans (WPPN 006). The Plan covers our UK operations and sets out our approach to measuring, managing and reducing carbon emissions.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan reports emissions across:

Direct emissions from fuel use in company vehicles and plant.

Indirect emissions from purchased electricity.

Business travel, waste, and supply chain activities where
data is available.
Baseline emissions have been established, and annual emissions are measured using recognised conversion factors. The Carbon Reduction Plan is reviewed and updated annually and is publicly available.
We actively implement measures to reduce emissions, including:
- Selection of construction methods that minimise ground disturbance, excavation, and concrete use (e.g. ground screw foundations and temporary works solutions)
- Careful planning of logistics to reduce journeys, including consolidated deliveries and appropriate transport selection
- Use of modern, efficient plant and vehicles where practicable
- Increased use of manual methods and lightweight equipment in sensitive environments
- Waste minimisation through reuse of materials, segregation of waste, and responsible disposal
- Procurement of materials from responsible and sustainable sources where available
To uphold these standards, we have implemented robust policies and procedures that govern our operations. From the initial stages of planning and strategising to the final phases of execution and delivery, we ensure that every step aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Our team is well-versed in the relevant guidelines and frameworks, ensuring full compliance while mitigating any potential risks.
For environmentally sensitive projects, such as marine and National Park works, environmental risks are assessed at planning stage. Works are phased to minimise disruption, protect habitats, and reduce unnecessary energy use. Pollution prevention measures are implemented to protect watercourses and the surrounding land.
Responsibility for environmental performance sits at director level, with site management responsible for implementing controls on projects. Environmental performance and carbon reduction opportunities are reviewed regularly, and lessons learned are fed back into future planning.
Through the publication and ongoing implementation of our Carbon Reduction Plan, Kingsley Build Group Ltd demonstrates a structured and proportionate approach to managing environmental impact and reducing carbon emissions in line with WPPN 006 requirements.
